The hotel is situated right in the heart of Congleton, making it perfect for what I needed. The rooms were a bit noisy despite being advertised as soundproof, and it could use a couple of coat hooks inside the door area. However, the bathroom with a freestanding bath was a nice touch.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Congleton, right over the road from the town center. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with some minor inconveniences. The service was attentive and welcoming, with a thoughtful gesture for our special occasion. The dining experience had its drawbacks but offered the convenience of extended hours for meals. Overall, a great location with some room for improvement in the dining area.

The room with the exceptionally comfortable bed above the bar had charming wooden beams and a bath, but it was near an exit that caused noise disturbances. The shower being a wet room led to minor flooding.

The service was excellent, especially with the morning coffee and lunch served outside our room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even leaving us a lovely surprise to celebrate our wedding day.
